Love of Jesus Indian Church

About this church

Love of Jesus Indian Church in South Amboy holds Sunday morning service at 10:00 a.m., with a class listed at 10:30, and Wednesday Bible study at 8:30 p.m. The official site gives inconsistent South Amboy evening times: its main schedule lists service at 5:00 and class at 5:30, then elsewhere lists evening service at 5:30 and class at 6:00. Visitors planning for Sunday evening should confirm directly. Monthly prayer gatherings include fasting prayer and men’s and women’s prayer meetings, while the South Amboy schedule appears alongside a separate Parsippany gathering.

The congregation’s mission is to know Christ and make him known, with an identity shaped by Indian Christian fellowship and ministry in New Jersey. Children’s and youth formation moves from age-appropriate Bible lessons and memory work to discussions of faith, culture, ethics, leadership, and service. Outreach includes local food drives, community meals, health screenings, and disaster supplies, plus support for pastors, evangelists, orphanages, and underserved villages in India. Men’s, women’s, and prayer ministries add Bible study, accountability, retreats, and service projects. This church may suit visitors seeking a distinctive Pentecostal community, both worship and teaching on Sunday, a late midweek study, and ministry connections that bridge New Jersey and India.
