Wesley United Methodist Church

About this church

Wesley United Methodist Church in South Plainfield follows a summer worship schedule of 10:30 a.m. from July 5 through September 13, with both in-person and online participation. Nursery care is offered during the service for children through age four. Older children can connect through seasonal programs, including an evening Vacation Bible School for ages four through twelve that combines Bible stories, music, crafts, games, and snacks. Because the published 10:30 time is explicitly seasonal, visitors planning outside the summer dates should verify the current Sunday schedule before arriving.

The church organizes its vision around knowing God through weekly worship, growing in faith through group life, and serving the world through local and global missions. Youth gatherings and small groups add relationship-based settings beyond the main service, while the music ministry supports worship nights and special services. Office hours run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., giving first-time visitors a reliable window for schedule or accessibility questions. Wesley’s appeal lies in a family-scale Sunday, nursery support, and clear movement from worship into groups and service.
