Heritage Baptist Church

About this church

Heritage Baptist Church meets at 2367 State Route 21 in Palmyra. The Sunday schedule begins with classes for all ages at 10:00 a.m., followed by morning worship and children’s churches at 11:00 and an evening worship service at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday prayer runs from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m., with Bible study at 7:00. Childcare is offered through age three during services, and the church publishes transportation availability for Sunday morning through its bus ministry.

The congregation describes itself as a place to meet Jesus, build life-giving Christian relationships, discover personal gifts, and use them for God’s glory. Its schedule reflects a traditional independent Baptist rhythm with Sunday School, preaching in both morning and evening, midweek prayer, and Bible study rather than a single weekend gathering. Teenagers have regular activities every other Friday, Bible teaching and fellowship, and opportunities to sing in a teen choir that rehearses before the Sunday evening service. Missions giving and local ministry are also part of the church’s public invitation. For a first visit, the 11:00 a.m. service is the central worship time; families wanting classes can arrive by 10:00, while visitors seeking a quieter introduction can preview current announcements and teaching online.
