Love Lake Norman

About this church

Love Lake Norman gathers Sunday at 9:30 and 11 a.m. inside the Cain Center for the Arts in downtown Cornelius. Each worship experience lasts about sixty minutes and includes music and practical Bible teaching. The church recommends arriving ten to fifteen minutes early; parking is available along the street in front of the center and across the street behind Town Hall, with volunteers guiding drivers. An Info Center and coffee bar sit just inside. Children from six weeks old through grade five have Love Kids at both hours, with background-checked volunteers and age-specific rooms. Pre-registration is optional but speeds check-in.

The church's mission is to help people find and follow Jesus, and its invitation explicitly makes room for questions and for belonging before belief. It participates in the Irresistible Church Network. Next Wave serves grades six through twelve only during the 11 a.m. experience, combining games, worship, chronological Bible teaching, and small-group discussion; students check in downstairs before moving upstairs together. This makes the earlier service a strong choice for households with younger children, while families with teenagers need 11 for the full student program. No Sunday registration is required, and guests are not asked to stand or introduce themselves. Because the worship venue is a performing-arts center rather than a conventional church building, visitors should use the directory's Catawba Avenue address, not the separate Starcreek Drive office and mailing address.
