Open Door Church

About this church

Open Door Church's Edenton campus offers Sunday services at 8, 9:30, and 11 a.m. The church identifies itself as an independent, non-affiliated fellowship whose members are being changed by Jesus and whose mission focuses on northeastern North Carolina. Three morning choices make the main service accessible to different schedules, while a Wednesday evening program at 6:30 during the school year adds a regular midweek gathering. Visitors should distinguish this Edenton schedule from the separate Bertie campus time also shown on the home page.

Open Door Kids serves children from birth through fifth grade during Sunday services in an environment designed to be safe, welcoming, and understandable at a child's level. Open Door Youth gives students a distinct place to build relationships and grow in faith, while adults can connect through Life Groups and ministries beyond the weekend. Outreach includes mission partners and local projects such as Boxes of Hope, which supplies holiday meals and groceries to families connected with Edenton and Hertford schools. People seeking a contemporary independent church in Edenton will find multiple services, family programming, small groups, and practical community care. Check the events page for the school-year start and holiday variations.
