Upward Christian Fellowship

About this church

Upward Christian Fellowship's Flat Rock campus offers the same worship message Sunday at 8:45, 10:15, and 11:45 a.m., plus Thursday at 7 p.m. The congregation also has a second physical location and an online campus, so visitors should match the selected service to the Flat Rock address on Upward Road. Sunday livestreams begin at 8:45 and 10:15. The official visitor guide is designed to answer practical questions about service length, clothing, children, directions, and what happens on arrival, making it a useful stop before a first trip.

Upward describes itself as a church family centered on Jesus, authentic relationships, and the belief that people can find hope, grace, forgiveness, and freedom regardless of their past questions or experiences. Its broader vision is to build the church by transforming communities. Connect Groups are the primary route into smaller relationships, with the church explaining that deeper change happens through circles rather than rows. Other next steps include classes, ministries for multiple life stages, service opportunities, and missions. The congregation aims to be both a giving and going church, supporting work in its surrounding communities and internationally. A first-time guest who wants a quieter building may prefer the earliest Sunday hour; those attending online should note that the final 11:45 service is not listed among the regular livestream starts.
