First Baptist Church of Hope Mills

About this church

First Baptist Church of Hope Mills meets at 4621 Cameron Road. Adult Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m., the sanctuary opens at 9:30, and worship starts at 10:00. Sunday worship is streamed on Facebook and later uploaded to YouTube. An adult Bible study is published for Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m., although the homepage notes a summer break before September. A ladies prayer group meets at 10:00 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays, also with seasonal scheduling.

The church calls its mission “make, equip, and deploy disciples” and describes itself as a local family centered on Jesus, Scripture, fellowship, service, worship, and prayer. Its Baptist identity includes believer's baptism, congregational governance, and cooperation in missions, church planting, disaster relief, and humanitarian aid. Youth in grades six through twelve meet Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 for Christian discussion of real-life experiences, along with service projects, retreats, and mission opportunities. Newcomers can arrive for the 9:00 education hour or come directly for the 10:00 service; the online archive offers a low-pressure preview, while midweek groups should be confirmed during summer or holiday periods.
