Highland Baptist Church

About this church

Highland Baptist Church is a Hope Mills congregation that gathers around worship, Scripture, prayer, encouragement, good works, and gospel outreach. It describes church as a family—imperfect but united by God’s Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Children, students, adults, missions, and midweek classes support households as they learn, serve, and build relationships.

Sunday School for all classes begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:30. Children learn through safe, age-appropriate activities, individual prayer, and take-home pages; parents may sit in a child’s class when helpful. Wednesday Bible Study and Prayer Meeting starts at 6:45 p.m. At the same hour, Foundations serves first through fifth grade and Grounded Student Ministry serves grades six through twelve with Bible study, worship, fellowship, and mission projects. Youth also have a 9:30 Sunday School class. This unified Wednesday start makes arrival simpler for families with different ages, while the Sunday sequence lets visitors attend education and worship back to back.
