Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene

About this church

Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene schedules Sunday School for 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30. A midweek Bible study meets Wednesdays at 6 p.m. The congregation belongs to the global Church of the Nazarene, a Great Commission movement founded to spread scriptural holiness and make Christlike disciples among the nations. Its official explanation emphasizes the Holy Spirit’s work in deeper Christian living, power for service and witness, victory over sin, and fellowship with God. Locally, the church aims to provide a safe place of refuge along with opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, fellowship, training, and service.

Weekly children’s classes and lessons serve ages three through sixth grade and seek to help families guide children into a personal relationship with Jesus. Teen ministry combines prayer, music, games, and an age-relevant Bible lesson for middle- and high-school students, with discussion that helps participants apply Scripture. Other youth activities include service projects, lock-ins, fundraising, and concerts. The church also frames missions as sharing Christ with people locally and around the world. KMNaz directs visitors to ask about children’s meeting hours, nursery care, safety procedures, building access, sacraments, and video worship.
