Blue Ridge Christian Church

About this church

Blue Ridge Christian Church meets at 147 Oren Drive in Mills River. Teen Bible study begins Sundays at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30. Children’s Church is normally offered during worship, except on the first Sunday of the month when children remain with their families; nursery care remains available. The main schedule lists Wednesday youth and Bible fellowship at 6:30 p.m., while the student page gives a 6:00 start with a meal. Families should confirm the current Wednesday arrival time before attending.

The congregation describes itself as multigenerational, with a mission of helping people find their home in God and values of following, imitating, and serving Jesus. Home groups meet in members’ homes during the school year for Bible study, prayer, accountability, meals, and community; men’s and women’s gatherings add other ways to connect. Blue Ridge practices baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper weekly. Its mission partners address local crisis assistance and transitional housing as well as church planting, children’s ministry, and anti-trafficking work internationally. Those partnerships and the family-specific Sunday notes give visitors more than a generic picture of the church.
