Grace Mills River Church

About this church

Grace Mills River Church worships Sundays at 10:30 a.m. through song, prayer, and Scripture, with an online service for people unable to attend. The congregation summarizes its calling as embodying the beauty of grace. Its beliefs emphasize salvation by grace through faith, while baptism marks inclusion in God’s covenant community without itself causing salvation. Families considering baptism, Communion, or children’s membership can meet with church leadership. Global missions prioritize relationships, cooperation across denominations and mission organizations, indigenous leadership, and support for short-term workers, long-term missionaries, boards, and national pastors.

Children from infancy through fifth grade begin in the main gathering and leave after the greeting of peace for age-specific Bible teaching, worship, crafts, and play. Check-in takes place at the Children’s Ministry Welcome Area. Classes pause on Easter, Memorial Day, and Labor Day weekends; kindergarten through fifth grade also remain in worship on fifth Sundays. Grace uses MinistrySafe’s five-part safety system, and every children’s or youth volunteer must complete the program before serving. Local outreach includes leading third-Sunday worship at an assisted-living community and providing anonymous weekend food bags for students through a school backpack program. Online materials leave unanswered whether worship is broadcast live or posted later. They also omit the usual duration, broader musical approach, Communion rhythm, typical attire, parking plan, step-free route, and assisted-listening options.
