About this church

The church organizes its mission around four words, Know, Grow, Sow, and Go, which describe knowing Jesus, growing through Bible study, serving with one's gifts, and making disciples.

Sunday School has classes for all ages, and a Wednesday Bible study meets at 6:30 p.m. BBC Kids and BBC Students serve children and teens, Young at Heart gathers seniors for food, fellowship, trips, and devotions, and a Multi-Generational Supper Club brings different ages together. Through Sewing Seeds of God's Love, women sew dresses and shorts that Samaritan's Purse medical teams give to children. Mission partners include the Catawba River Baptist Association, the Pregnancy Care Center of Burke County, Baptist Children's Home of North Carolina, and Operation Christmas Child. The church also presents Judgement House, a free walk-through drama that is not recommended for children under 10. Sunday worship streams live at 10:15 a.m., and facility and pavilion reservation forms are available online.
