About this church
Grace Episcopal Church is a welcoming and affirming Morganton parish where Holy Eucharist, choir, children and youth, fellowship, healing prayer, justice, and direct care for neighbors support relationships with God and one another. Its ministries range from Sunday sacramental worship to meals for people without stable housing, weekend food for school families, and community conversations about equity and inclusion.
Sunday Rite II Holy Eucharist begins at 10:30 a.m., using contemporary-language Episcopal liturgy. Light refreshments and fellowship follow in the parish hall. Nursery care for children from birth through kindergarten is available from 9:30 until the end of worship, although infants and children are always welcome to remain in the service. The children’s page also invites young people to take visible roles such as serving as acolytes. On Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., a brief chapel gathering in the parish hall includes Scripture, discussion, prayers for healing, and Eucharist. At 4:00 each Wednesday, the Circle of Friends ministry serves a nourishing meal to neighbors who are unsheltered or experiencing food insecurity. Public pages do not specify parking, accessibility, attire, Sunday service duration, child check-in, secure pickup, volunteer screening, livestreaming, or Communion visitor guidance. Guests wanting detailed sacramental guidance or current choir and formation hours should consult the weekly parish information.
