Greenwood Baptist Church

About this church

Greenwood Baptist Church is a Thomasville congregation focused on loving God, serving others, and sharing the hope of Jesus in the community. Blended worship, Konnect Groups, children, youth, young adults, older adults, women, Baptist Men on Mission, prayer, and online participation give newcomers multiple ways to build relationships.

Konnect Groups begin Sunday at 9:30 a.m., followed by in-person worship at 10:30. The service combines contemporary and traditional music with prayer and Bible-based preaching, and the visitor page says to come as you are. Wednesday worship-band practice starts at 6:15 p.m.; adult and youth Bible study and worship-ministry practice begin at 7:00. A Wednesday Konnect Bible study is also available by Zoom after requesting an invitation. The worship-times page labels a Sunday online broadcast at 9:30, which conflicts with its own 10:30 in-person worship listing; remote visitors should confirm whether the stream begins with groups, worship, or a replay. The site lists children’s ministry and childcare but does not publish classroom ages, nursery availability, Sunday check-in, or secure pickup details. Public pages also omit parking, accessibility, service length, and Communion frequency. Recorded and live options remain useful, provided viewers verify the correct Sunday start.
