This Diocese of Charlotte parish traces Catholic worship in Thomasville to summer Masses celebrated for local families and Hi-Toms baseball players in the late 1940s. Later growth brought a choir, faith formation, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, and a Knights of Columbus council. Today the church describes its community as culturally diverse and its mission through prayer, study, stewardship, social life, and service, especially to vulnerable neighbors. Livestreamed services and a recurring second-Sunday food collection add online and practical expressions of that mission. The bilingual schedule makes the parish particularly useful to Spanish- and English-speaking households seeking shared Catholic life.
