Life Church of Waynesville

About this church

Life Church Waynesville gathers for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. around three invitations: encounter God, experience community, and live on mission. The congregation is in a season of revival and rebuilding, honoring more than sixty years in Waynesville while preparing a relaunch shaped by Appalachian roots, biblical teaching, and hope in Jesus. Its stated mission is to build faith, foster community, and extend compassion through Christ-centered living. A plan-your-visit path and online overview help newcomers understand that the church is actively inviting people to shape its next chapter.

Life Kids partners with parents to teach the gospel in an engaging setting. Nursery serves birth through age four, Sunday School serves ages four through fifth grade, and Wednesday AWANA extends through sixth grade; current program times beyond Sunday worship should be confirmed. Student ministry, life groups, missions, prayer, worship, parking, and volunteer teams provide additional points of connection. The church’s published beliefs are Pentecostal, affirming salvation through Christ, baptism, Communion, the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and Spirit-empowered service. Visitors can expect a congregation in transition with a clear Sunday time, strong language of belonging, and room to join both ministry teams and community service.
