North Wilmington Church of Christ

About this church

North Wilmington Church of Christ begins Sunday Bible study at 9:00 a.m. and morning worship at 10:00, with Wednesday Bible study at 7:00 p.m. The congregation describes itself simply as people who belong to Jesus Christ and worship together while serving the Port City and surrounding area. Current adult classes examine biblical authority and the Psalms, while children's classes follow the wider story of Scripture. Sermons and online studies let visitors hear the church's teaching in advance.

The first-visit page explains a Church of Christ service and its biblical rationale, helping people who may be unfamiliar with congregational singing, Communion, prayer, preaching, and participation. Members invite personal questions and offer one-to-one Bible study by request rather than limiting learning to scheduled classes. A Friday singing devotional appears on the current calendar, adding a music-centered gathering outside Sunday. The compact weekly pattern makes planning easy: study first, worship second, then a midweek return for another class. Visitors seeking a congregation with a strong emphasis on Scripture and direct Bible study will find those priorities explicit throughout the site, along with current dates that confirm the published times.
