The Refinery Church

About this church

The Refinery Church is a Wilmington congregation with a strong emphasis on the presence of God, worship, prayer, relationships, and multiplying generations of disciples. Its mission invites every person to contribute to the life of Christ’s body rather than attend only as an observer. Children’s, music, missions, prayer, and small-group ministries connect the Sunday gathering with spiritual formation and service across the city and beyond.

Sunday worship begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Oleander Drive church and is livestreamed through the official site, Facebook, and YouTube. Previous messages remain available for people who want to preview teaching. Kids ministry serves children from early childhood upward through worship, stories, crafts, prayer, and play, though the accessible page does not publish exact room ages or confirm that every group meets every Sunday; families should contact the ministry for check-in details. The Littles room provides a setting for younger children to build a foundational relationship with Christ. The music team combines musicians, sound, and media with an emphasis on both skill and attentiveness to the Holy Spirit. Missions, prayer team, and small groups follow separate schedules rather than a single midweek hour. Visitors can therefore rely on Sunday at 10:00 while using current ministry contacts for everything beyond the principal gathering.
