Heritage Baptist Church

About this church

Heritage Baptist Church begins Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., morning worship at 10:30, and evening worship at 7:00 in Canal Winchester. A Wednesday service also meets at 7:00, alongside King’s Kids and teen ministry. The independent Baptist congregation describes Scripture as the final authority and emphasizes Christ’s birth, atoning death, resurrection, and return.

Family arrangements are unusually specific: children under five use the nursery; grades one through six have Sunday School in Heritage Hall; and during morning worship, grades one through three attend Children’s Church while grades four through six attend Junior Church. Teens join the main services but have separate Sunday School and Wednesday ministry. A first-time household should arrive early enough to be directed to the correct building and room. There is no dress code, and visitors are not expected to give. Families attending Wednesday can check in for parallel age-based programs at the same 7:00 hour.
