World Harvest Church

About this church

World Harvest Church meets on Gender Road in Canal Winchester, in southeast Franklin County near Columbus. Sunday services begin at 10 a.m. and usually last about two hours, and a one-hour Wednesday service is held at 7 p.m. Both are offered in person and online, so check the website for current times. The church describes itself as a Spirit-filled, multigenerational congregation. Music blends older hymns with contemporary worship, and services center on teaching from the Bible. The sanctuary opens an hour before the Sunday service, and large screens make the platform easy to see from anywhere in the room. The church began as a backyard Bible study in 1977, and its campus also houses a K-12 school and a Christian college.

Bible Fellowship Groups meet Sundays at 9 a.m. on campus, and other groups meet in homes around the Columbus area. Kid Harvest Clubhouse opens at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays and serves children from nursery through fifth grade, with a chapel time for preschoolers and a Jr. Church service with live music for grades 1 through 5. Three-year-olds must be potty-trained to join the preschool class. Middle schoolers in grades 6 through 8 connect through GEN H, and high school students gather for HRVST YTH on Wednesday nights. Kids check-in is secure, and guests are invited to come as they are.
