Chillicothe Baptist Church

About this church

Chillicothe Baptist Church gathers for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m., with the main service also livestreamed. The congregation describes its roughly ninety-minute gathering as Christ-exalting and Bible-centered: worshipers read Scripture, sing and pray from Scripture, and hear verse-by-verse preaching. Guests range from jeans and collared shirts to dress clothes, with modest comfort favored over a dress code. Parking is free and readily accessible; newcomer and expectant-mother spaces sit close to the building. Greeters can help first-time visitors find their way, and a round-the-clock prayer line is available outside normal office hours.

Infant-through-prekindergarten childcare is offered throughout Sunday morning. Elementary students have age-specific Sunday School classes but remain with the congregation for worship because CBC does not operate children's church. The church says its teachers and children's volunteers are trained and background checked, facilities are cleaned before and after use, and a safety team patrols the hallways. Wednesday ministries run from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.: nursery and prekindergarten-through-sixth-grade programming meet alongside gospel-centered student study and a more conversational adult gathering of singing, prayer, and Scripture. The site also describes small discipleship triads. It does not clearly publish an accessible entrance route, hearing assistance, Communion frequency, or livestream delay.
