First Baptist Heath

About this church

Sunday worship at First Baptist Heath begins at 10:30 a.m. The church describes its purpose as glorifying God by making disciples of all nations. The congregation's vision connects worship with relationships, service, leadership, outreach, and multiplication in central Ohio. Its beliefs are recognizably Baptist: Scripture guides faith and practice, baptism is by immersion for people professing faith, and the Lord's Supper is observed as an ordinance of the gathered church. The public pages do not give a typical service length, musical style, dress expectations, Communion frequency, or livestream information.

Children's classes serve preschool through fifth grade with songs, crafts, Bible lessons, and age-based friendships; HYFI offers an additional connection-focused program through third grade. The church uses secure check-in, and children's workers complete background checks and child-safety training. Gospel Youth Ministry gathers sixth- through twelfth-graders Sundays from 5 to 7:30 p.m. for friendship, Christ-centered fellowship, and learning to follow Jesus. Mission partnerships extend from Columbus and church planting in central Ohio to seafarers in New Orleans, ministry training in Senegal, and a church replant in Scotland. Parents should contact the church about nursery ages and the exact Sunday class hour, which are not preserved clearly on the ministry page.
