About this church
Southgate Church of Christ worships Sundays at 10 a.m. in what it describes as a casual, friendly setting. A praise team and minister lead worship, and the congregation shares Communion every week. The service is conducted in both English and American Sign Language. Live high-definition screens in several remote areas of the building provide alternative viewing spaces. Newcomer directions explain how to find the worship room after entering, while the church site introduces a staff and volunteer team whose stated hope is a loving, caring church family.
Children begin in the auditorium with parents and are dismissed at a designated point for age-level Bible class and worship. Classes serve newborns through fifth grade, using storytelling, crafts, games, and activities; parents collect children afterward at the Check In Station. The children’s ministry aims to support families, plant biblical foundations, and help children know God, follow Jesus, and share faith. Other listed ministries include a community food pantry and support for Mid-Western Children’s Home. Southgate summarizes its direction with “Love + Love + Go,” linking love of God, love of neighbors, and mission. The published visitor material does not state total service length, instrumental style beyond the praise team, baptism preparation, child check-in security or worker screening, parking, mobility access, hearing technology beyond ASL, livestream availability outside the building, or the schedule for pantry and adult formation programs.
