Christ Church United Methodist

About this church

Christ Church Kettering offers three Sunday services. Traditional worship at 8:45 a.m. is intimate and quiet, with a small-church feel. Contemporary worship at 9:45 meets in the first-floor Activity Center with a live band and casual, all-age format. Traditional worship returns at 11:15 in the second-floor sanctuary, using piano and organ and adding a choir during the school year. Children's Ministry is available during the 9:45 and 11:15 services. Newcomers can stop at the Next Steps Hub for free coffee. Sermons address real-life topics through accessible, challenging teaching grounded in Scripture, and services can be watched online.

Family Ministry serves every stage from nursery through high school with secure check-in, trained volunteers, age-appropriate teaching, worship, activities, and small groups. Its Timeline2Faith framework helps parents connect milestones from infancy through student leadership and service, supplemented by family events, parent training, and at-home resources. Founded by United Methodists in 1951, Christ Church now reports more than 2,100 members and campuses serving Kettering, southern Montgomery and northern Warren counties, and a multiethnic community. Its mission centers on lives changed through Christ; anniversary service efforts count volunteering at church, with neighbors, and at nonprofits. Small groups, discipleship, and service teams offer further connection. Christ Church has yet to specify service duration, Communion timing and invitation, traditional-service dress, parking, step-free routes to second-floor rooms, hearing support, nursery ages, the platform schedule, or child pickup details.
