Jesus Pursuit Church

About this church

Jesus Pursuit Church in Albany gathers Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and livestreams worship and a message on YouTube. The congregation describes itself as an apostolic community where people encounter God, experience transformation, and advance God's kingdom. Worship is expressive and central to the church's public identity. Children from toddler age through fifth grade begin in the main gathering and are released after worship; parents check them in, receive a name label, and use a matching alphanumeric code at pickup. A separate gathering is scheduled for the first Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

The church's stated purpose is to know Jesus Christ and make him known in Albany, the Pacific Northwest, and other nations. Alongside JPC Kids, the congregation maintains ministries for youth, young adults, men, women, and missions, with text updates allowing people to choose the areas most relevant to them. Its online sermon archive and weekly livestream make the worship style easy to preview before attending. Visitors comparing charismatic churches will find a simple main schedule, an emphasis on sustained musical worship and spiritual encounter, a secure children's transition after the opening worship set, and several age- and interest-based routes into congregational life.
