Grace Baptist Church

About this church

Grace Baptist Church offers in-person Sunday services at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. at 4197 State Street in Salem, with an online service beginning around 10:45. Nursery care for infants through age three is available at both services. Preschool for four-year-olds and children’s church for kindergarten through fifth grade are offered during the 11:00 service, so families choosing the earlier hour should note the difference.

Middle- and high-school students meet together Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. for a lesson, games, small groups, worship, and relationship-building. On Sunday evenings at 5:30, Ekklesia provides a more informal setting to discuss the morning message and other topics with the pastor. Growth Groups meet on campus or online, and a Saturday 8:00 a.m. men’s prayer time adds another recurring connection. Grace describes its purpose as reaching the community, building believers in faith, and equipping people to reach their peers. A library with in-person, online, and telephone borrowing options is a distinctive practical resource, while the bulletin, audio/video sermon archive, and livestream let prospective visitors sample current teaching before attending. The two-service childcare differences are the key planning detail.
