Gettysburg Seventh-day Adventist Church

About this church

Gettysburg Seventh-day Adventist Church begins Sabbath School at 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays, with classes from infancy through adulthood that move through the Bible on an approximately three-year cycle. The worship service follows the education hour, featuring practical teaching and a mix of historic, traditional, and contemporary hymns. The congregation describes Sabbath morning as a celebration of the Savior, with special music varying by the participating musicians.

Children’s classes include Cradle Roll, kindergarten, primary, early teen, youth, and young adult groups, using songs, Bible stories, crafts, and activities. A strong health ministry hosts a monthly vegetarian and vegan dinner club with free meals, demonstrations, and periodic guest speakers for the wider community. The reviewed guide does not state the exact worship-service start, so visitors should confirm it while planning around the reliable 9:30 Sabbath School hour. Families can select the appropriate age group in advance, and anyone interested in a community dinner should reserve a place when seating is limited.
