Living Bible Fellowship Church

About this church

Living Bible Fellowship Church is a Gettysburg-area Bible Fellowship congregation seeking to share the gospel and encourage believers through worship, prayer, service, generosity, evangelism, and fellowship. The congregation began when several families gathered for Sunday-afternoon prayer, Bible study, and a meal. Regular Sunday morning meetings followed in 2005, first in a home and then a Girl Scout building; growth led to the purchase of its Coleman Road property in 2008.

Sunday worship begins at 10:00 a.m. Life Learning Classes follow at 11:15, and a fellowship lunch open to everyone begins at noon. The children’s page says age-appropriate classes meet while adults take part in discussion and interaction. Teachers have completed government clearances, and parents may instead keep their children with them. Because the homepage places the 11:15 classes before the noon meal while using the word “follow” for both, newcomers should arrive for the 10:00 service and ask a host about the day’s transition. Mission is framed locally and globally: the church wants to serve the Gettysburg area while participating in the Bible Fellowship Church’s wider Acts 1:8 approach to world evangelization and missionary care.
