938 Church

About this church

938 Church meets Sundays at 10 a.m. inside the Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center at 226 North High Street in West Chester. That worship location differs from the East Market Street contact address in the directory record. Guests can expect hot coffee, a few worship songs, and a gospel-focused message in a welcoming, Jesus-centered community. Sunday parking is free throughout West Chester, and signs direct drivers to an available lot. Livestreams and on-demand video are available through the church app, website, and YouTube. Growth Track meets for forty minutes after worship for three weeks beginning on each month’s first Sunday.

Children’s care includes nursery through age two, preschool for ages two to five, and elementary classes through fifth grade; the visitor FAQ more broadly describes ministry through sixth grade, so families with a sixth-grader should confirm the current placement. New families should arrive by 9:50. Electronic check-in uses a phone number, matching child sticker and guardian tag, and text alerts. Staff and volunteers hold current Pennsylvania child-abuse clearances and criminal-background checks. Activities include play or crafts, Bible teaching, prayer, small-group discussion, and a snack, with allergies recorded during check-in. The name 938 refers to Matthew 9:35–38, and the church’s values are building community, strengthening faith, and extending compassion. Public pages do not specify service length, Communion practice, baptism preparation, accessibility, hearing support, or detailed musical style.
