Grace Baptist Church of York

About this church

Grace Baptist Church of York offers two distinct Sunday morning services: contemporary worship at 8:15 a.m. and traditional worship at 10:45, with Sunday School between them at 9:30. Evening worship is normally at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday programming includes Kidzlife at 6:45 and adult Bible study, prayer, and Against the Flow youth group at 7:00. On most first Sundays, the congregation instead shares lunch after the 10:45 service and holds an afternoon service, replacing the regular evening gathering.

For first-time guests, Grace promises an inviting atmosphere, upbeat music, relevant Bible teaching, and events for children and teenagers. Its purpose is summarized through worship, instruction, fellowship, and evangelism, while its broader vision emphasizes growing, serving, learning, and carrying Christian truth into the world. Ministry options span children, youth, adults, and small groups, with service extending into the local community and global missions. The church's own welcome—“Enter as Guests, Leave as Friends”—fits the practical layout of the morning: visitors can choose the musical style that suits them, connect through the Sunday School hour, and preview the 10:45 service through the church's livestream.
