Hartsville Presbyterian Church

About this church

Hartsville Presbyterian Church holds morning worship Sundays at 9:30 a.m. at 961 Russell Road, followed by coffee fellowship and Sunday School for children, youth, and adults at 11:00. Nursery is available during classes, and childcare for ages four and younger is offered during worship; children may also remain in the service. Evening worship begins at 6:00 p.m., and morning services can be watched online.

The congregation belongs to the Presbyterian Church in America and describes its mission as offering the whole Christ from the whole Bible to the whole community. Worship includes preaching, prayer, corporate confession, music, and hymns. During the school year, children can join Wednesday Bible study and choir plus twice-monthly Scripture-memory gatherings; middle- and high-school students add Wednesday study and twice-monthly Sunday evening youth group. A first-time household can attend the 9:30 service alone or stay through coffee into the 11:00 education hour. Parents using childcare should arrive early enough to locate the correct room. Evening worship provides a second, more focused Sunday opportunity, but small groups sometimes replace or accompany that schedule, so check the current calendar.
