Abiding Word Family Ministries

About this church

Abiding Word Family Ministries is a charismatic Christian congregation at 227 Abiding Way in Moncks Corner. Sunday worship begins at 10 a.m. and normally lasts about two hours, with room left for extended prayer and worship. The service includes exhortation, praise, announcements, offering, a sermon, and benediction; Holy Communion is observed on first Sundays. Wednesday Bible study meets from 7 to 8 p.m. for prayer, teaching, and open discussion. The church emphasizes Bible teaching, strong families, spiritual gifts, and a Christ-centered community where people can encounter Jesus.

Arrival information is unusually detailed. Drivers follow the Abiding Word signs past the children's building to the main sanctuary, where parking attendants, greeters, and ushers help newcomers. Dress ranges from jeans to Sunday best, and first-time guests can meet the pastor and receive a small gift afterward. Nursery and AW Kidz begin at 10, with background-checked caregivers, sanitized rooms, snacks, and options for parents to share allergy or learning needs. The campus also includes separate ministry buildings and gathering space. Visitors can expect a warm, expressive service with coordinated family care and a clear midweek opportunity to discuss Scripture rather than only listen.
