Northside Baptist Church

About this church

Northside Baptist Church is a conservative Baptist congregation in North Charleston, South Carolina, focused on preparing believers to live for Christ and witness in their community. Its traditional worship directs attention to God through congregational and instrumental music, while Sunday School and weekday fellowship create room for encouragement and spiritual growth. Northside Christian School is a ministry of the church. Children’s programming includes nursery, children’s church, and AWANA; missionary support extends the church’s evangelistic commitments internationally, including work in places where open Christian ministry is restricted.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:30 and an afternoon service at 5:00. Children beyond nursery age through second grade may leave the auditorium before the sermon for children’s church and are picked up afterward in the elementary building. Nursery care for infants and toddlers is available during all services. AWANA meets Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. for children age two through sixth grade. The church is at 7800 Northside Drive. Guests can expect conservative preaching and music; families should ask where to collect nursery instruction sheets or pickup beepers and confirm the school-year AWANA calendar.
