Covington Church of Christ

About this church

Covington Church of Christ is a Bible-centered congregation serving Covington and the surrounding area, with roots its official history traces to 1834. The church seeks to follow New Testament teaching in doctrine and practice and describes its community as uplifting, prayerful, and ready to extend grace to broken lives. Sunday worship includes a cappella congregational singing, prayer, Bible preaching, the Lord’s Supper, and an opportunity to give.

Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:00 and evening worship at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday Bible classes run from 7:00 to 7:50 p.m.; on the final Wednesday of each month, classes give way to a congregational singing. The official homepage also publishes a Tuesday ladies’ Bible class at 10:00 a.m. beginning again August 25, 2026, making that activity seasonal rather than a safe year-round assumption. Mission partnerships include children’s homes in Tennessee, selected partly so members can participate hands-on instead of offering only distant support. The church’s location page is the clearest source for the recurring weekly schedule, while dated homepage notices should be checked for special events such as Friends and Family Day.
