About this church
Action Church in East Ridge holds Sunday School at 9 a.m. and worship at 10:30, with the worship service streamed live. A typical Sunday lasts about ninety minutes, beginning with contemporary worship and prayer and continuing with a Bible-based message focused on everyday application. Visitors can expect a welcome desk, a connect card, and a small first-visit gift. Clothing ranges from suits to jeans, and the church explicitly invites people to dress comfortably. Its theme—putting faith into action—frames church as the people who live their faith, not simply a building.
Children's classes for nursery through fifth grade include age-appropriate teaching, worship, and interactive activities during each service; the welcome team helps families find the children's area. Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. brings adult Bible studies, teen connection, and children's learning and activities, but the midweek schedule pauses in June and July. Action's stated vision is united worship, encounter with God's power, and equipping for ministry. It is a congregation of the Church of God based in Cleveland, Tennessee. Published beliefs include biblical inspiration, the Trinity, Christ's death and resurrection, repentance, salvation, sanctification, Holy Spirit Baptism and tongues, water Baptism by immersion, divine healing, the Lord's Supper, foot washing, and Christ's return. Guests should ask the church directly about parking, accessible entry, children’s security process, ordinance frequency, and streaming latency.
