Lucy Baptist Church

About this church

Lucy Baptist Church offers Equip Classes Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:30 at 4005 Lucy Road in Millington, just north of Memphis. Community groups meet Sunday afternoons and evenings, while prayer, Bible study, and music rehearsal are scheduled Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Worship is organized around preaching, reading, praying, and singing Scripture, with baptism and the Lord’s Supper treated as visible expressions of the gospel.

The congregation is Southern Baptist and adopts the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as its confession. Visitors can use the 10:30 gathering as the broadest introduction or arrive for the 9:00 class hour when discussion and learning are a priority. The afternoon and evening groups create a smaller setting for relationships beyond the main service, and the Wednesday schedule combines congregational prayer with study and music. Event listings identify when nursery care, childcare through fifth grade, food, or other accommodations accompany a particular gathering, so families should check the individual event rather than assume every program has the same provisions. Sermons and a live stream are available through the official site for those who want to hear the teaching before attending.
