First Baptist Azle

About this church

First Baptist Azle offers two identical Sunday services at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Each lasts about an hour and combines worship through music with a Bible-based sermon. The atmosphere is friendly and casual, and the church explicitly tells guests there is no need to dress up. Nursery and children's ministry are available during both services, while students have a Bible study during the 9:30 hour.

Small groups meet at both Sunday times and during the week, providing options for different ages and stages of life. The congregation's mission work includes Vacation Bible School for local children, a student-led project with a St. Louis-area church, and a long partnership with First Faith Baptist in the Philippines. Parents can review the children's check-in process before arriving, and first-time visitors can use the plan-your-visit resources for directions. Since the two services are intentionally alike, families can choose primarily around class and childcare needs rather than worship style.
