St Paul Lutheran Church

About this church

St. Paul Lutheran Church worships at 2739 Phillipsburg Church Road near Brenham on Sunday at 9:00 a.m., with a livestream at the same hour. Traditional Lutheran worship includes hymns, Scripture, sermon, prayer, creeds, and Holy Communion. Children are welcome to remain in the service. St. Paul Sunday School meets at 10:00 on the first and third Sundays, with a first-Sunday “Fun Sunday” activity and shared meal for families.

St. Paul shares ministry with St. James New Wehdem while retaining its own worship, budget, and leadership council. The two congregations belong to the North American Lutheran Church and Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ. Their partnership supports Vacation Bible School, confirmation, food collections, adult service trips, and occasional combined worship, allowing two rural churches to extend their outward work together. Visitors should distinguish St. Paul’s 9:00 service from St. James’s 10:30 service when using the shared website. Check the calendar for combined Sundays, when the normal location or time may change.
