Jones Chapel Baptist Church

About this church

Jones Chapel Baptist Church in Conroe begins Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. and the Sunday Morning Vibe worship experience at 10:00. Worship is energetic and encouraging, led by the Vibe Nation Praise Team, with a Bible message connected to everyday life. The pastor makes a point of greeting members and guests after the service. Spiritual Growth Conversations are offered Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., giving adults both daytime and evening study options.

The congregation's identity is worshiping together, growing together, and imitating Christ together. Its stated priorities include proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, building authentic community, serving others, whole-life worship, and helping every member use spiritual gifts. S.W.A.G. serves students through Sunday School Lab and second- and third-Wednesday evening sessions, while music ministry prepares worship leaders spiritually as well as musically. The visitor guidance stresses that people do not need to have life perfectly organized before attending. Newcomers can arrive for the 9:00 class, come directly to the 10:00 Vibe, or use Wednesday conversations for a smaller introduction.
