Tree of Life Lutheran Church

About this church

Tree of Life Lutheran Church in Conroe worships Sundays at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m., with the later service livestreamed. Sunday school and confirmation begin at 9:15 during the school year. The ELCA congregation describes worship as mostly traditional and liturgical, using choir and hymns, while a praise band provides contemporary music about once a month. Visitors are invited to come as they are, and the church explicitly welcomes questions as part of faith rather than treating uncertainty as a barrier to participation.

Communion is open to baptized Christians, an important detail for guests from other congregations. Beyond worship, Tree of Life lists youth ministry, Bible studies, music opportunities including bells, and groups for varied interests and life stages. Those offerings range from a role-playing game group to activities for retirees, suggesting that connection is not limited to a single age or format. For newcomers comparing Lutheran churches around Conroe, the two service times, formation hour between them, open-Communion guidance, monthly contemporary variation, and online option give a useful practical and theological preview. The result is a congregation rooted in Lutheran liturgy while making room for different musical and social entry points.
