First Methodist Church Corsicana

About this church

First Methodist Church Corsicana is a Global Methodist congregation that pairs its historic sanctuary with a separate contemporary gathering in the Great Hall. Worship, Bible study, children, preteens, teenagers, music, fellowship, and service are framed as ways to know Christ, grow in faith, and care for neighbors. Visitors can choose between organ-and-choir liturgy and a modern worship-team setting.

Traditional services begin Sunday at 8:30 and 10:50 a.m.; The Current contemporary service starts at 11:00. Children’s Sunday School runs 9:45–10:30, with kindergarten through fourth grade on the Children’s Center’s second floor and grades five and six in Room 2. The preschool page says a new 9:45 program is being developed, so families should confirm availability. Children’s Church begins after the kids’ sermon in each service and concludes at noon, though the site does not state which ages participate. Club 56 meets Wednesday 3:30–5:00 p.m. and offers pickup from Collins Intermediate as enrollment rebuilds. Other Bible studies are listed during the week. Public pages do not explain parking, accessibility, dress, nursery care, child check-in, secure pickup, screening, livestreaming, Communion frequency, or service duration.
