Celebration Lutheran Church

About this church

Celebration Lutheran Church is a Cypress congregation meeting in a leased house rather than a conventional church building. It welcomes longtime Lutherans, Christians from other traditions, people new to faith, doubters, and nonbelievers. As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, Celebration publicly welcomes and affirms people of every sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression throughout church life and leadership. Sunday education for children, youth, and adults, casual conversation over coffee, and a monthly lunch group support community around the worship gathering.

Current homepage, visitor, event, and calendar listings all place Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. at 16215 Prairie Lea Street. Education groups meet from 10:45 to 11:45 during the school year, excluding summer and holiday breaks. An older beliefs page still says worship is at 3:00 p.m., but the repeated current listings support 9:30; visitors should use the live event page if uncertainty remains. The first-Wednesday Lunch Bunch meets at changing local restaurants, so its location and exact time should be checked separately. Come early for coffee, tea, juice, and conversation.
