The Church at Cross Lake

About this church

The Church at Cross Lake in Cypress is a non-denominational congregation that meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. on Cypress Rosehill Road. An informal prayer time is held before the service at 9 a.m. in Room 101. Visitors are encouraged to wear whatever they are comfortable in, whether casual or dressy, and the church notes that newcomers can check things out without being singled out. After worship, people are invited to bring a bag lunch and stay to eat together. Service times can change, so confirm them on the church's website before visiting.

Kids ministry serves children from birth through age 12 during the Sunday service with age-appropriate activities, though children are also welcome to stay in the main worship room. Junior high and high school students meet Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. during the school year for dinner, worship, a group lesson, and games. Small groups meet throughout the week, including an all-welcome Tuesday evening group at the church, a women's group on Wednesday evenings, a monthly early-morning men's group, and other groups that gather in homes in the Hockley and Tomball area. The church also has ministries for families, women, and men, and past sermons can be found online through the church's website.
