Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church

About this church

Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church in Katy offers Disciple Groups for all ages Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:30. The blended, family-friendly service uses familiar hymns led by a choir and varying instrumentalists. Clothing is generally dressy casual, although jeans, dresses, and sport coats all appear. Children may remain in the sanctuary with a worship bag or leave after Moments with Children for Faith Express through fifth grade. Nursery care serves infants from eight weeks through age two, and a nearby Newborn Room carries service audio for parents caring for babies.

At 9:30 and 10:30, elementary classes help kindergarten through fifth-grade children explore Scripture and God’s love. Ages three through five receive age-appropriate Bible teaching, crafts, and free play during the broader 9:30–11:30 children’s window. Grand Lakes describes its mission as connecting and transforming lives in Christ through worship, study, service, outreach, and caring relationships. It celebrates Baptism and the Lord’s Supper and offers mission partnerships, congregational care, music, student programs, women’s and men’s ministries, and a Sunday connection card for newcomers. Grand Lakes leaves worship length, child check-in, step-free access, Communion frequency, baptism preparation, and streaming unanswered online.
