Victory of the Lamb Lutheran Church

About this church

Victory of the Lamb Lutheran Church is a Katy congregation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Its worship is designed to be both reverent and relevant, combining Bible readings, prayer, preaching, and traditional and contemporary songs. Preschool, children, teens, adults, service projects, and Bible learning support a family-centered church where children are encouraged to take part in worship rather than automatically being separated from it.

Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. and ordinarily lasts sixty to seventy minutes. Sunday School follows at 10:45 for all ages; the children’s group is specifically designed for ages three through ten, while adults meet for Bible class. Children receive a message during worship, and activity bags and a separate nursery are available when needed. Clothing ranges from jeans and polos to shorts and T-shirts. The licensed preschool serves ages three through five, while Mornings with Mommy offers themed sessions for infants through preschoolers and caregivers; neither should be mistaken for Sunday childcare. The teen ministry meets regularly but does not publish one stable hour on its page. Visitors can attend worship alone or remain for the all-ages education hour, with coffee and refreshments prepared after the service.
