Westland Baptist Church

About this church

Westland Baptist Church offers in-person and livestreamed worship at 8:30 and 11 a.m. on Sunday in Katy. Its vision is to reach people and help them become fully devoted followers of Christ, with mission understood as something practiced across town and down the street as well as overseas. The two service times give visitors flexibility, while livestreaming makes it possible to preview worship or participate from home.

Westland Kids partners with parents through age-specific lessons, activities, and small groups for children from birth through fifth grade. The church also publishes seasonal opportunities extending into sixth grade. Student ministry serves junior-high and high-school students with discipleship, relationships, service, and leadership development. Mission projects include Feed the Hunger meal packets for malnourished children and families abroad and in the Katy community, combining physical food with ongoing support through Christian partners. The congregation ties this work to the Great Commandment and Great Commission rather than treating outreach as an occasional event. Families should verify which children's environments operate during each service and arrive early for check-in, while anyone interested in missions or student ministry can use the official pages to identify current opportunities after attending at 8:30 or 11.
