Westside Baptist Church

About this church

Westside Baptist Church begins Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., morning worship at 10:45, and evening worship at 6:30 at 3883 Lakes of Bridgewater Drive in Katy. Wednesday Bible study and prayer begins at 7:30 p.m., and a Saturday soul-winning meeting is published at 9:30 a.m. The church identifies as independent, fundamental, Bible-believing, and Baptist, language that clearly signals a conservative approach to preaching, doctrine, and church practice for visitors comparing congregations.

Sunday School classes provide Bible instruction for varied ages and life stages before the morning service. Youth ministry combines Scripture study, activities, service, and relationships for teenagers, while children's, nursery, music, and outreach ministries support the weekly schedule. Westside also operates a Christian academy; its school calendar and parent materials are separate from Sunday children's programming and should not be confused with drop-in church care. Missions support and evangelism are prominent, with the church listing missionaries and encouraging members to share their faith locally. The beliefs page explains positions on Scripture, God, salvation, the church, baptism, Communion, and Christian conduct. A first-time guest can pair 9:30 Sunday School with 10:45 worship or attend the evening service separately; anyone planning for children should confirm the appropriate room and check-in process before the class hour begins.
