First Melissa

About this church

First Melissa offers Sunday services at 9:00 and 10:15 a.m. at the southwest corner of State Highway 121 and Melissa Road. Worship features upbeat contemporary music and a Bible-focused message with practical application. Coffee and information are available at The HUB, a parking team directs arriving cars, and families can preregister children online before reaching check-in. Those small details make the rapidly growing North Texas campus easier to navigate on a first visit.

The church describes itself as a family of Christ-followers who believe God changes lives and that Scripture explains how his presence matters now and eternally. Preschool, kids, students, adults, small groups, baptism, membership, and service teams create a clear next-step pathway. Twenty-four-seven prayer, missions, Celebrate Recovery, and cancer support address needs beyond the weekend service. Arrow Academy extends education into the week, while the app centralizes sermons, registration, giving, and current events. Visitors can expect the two Sunday gatherings to share the same contemporary and teaching-oriented identity, so choosing between them is mainly a matter of schedule rather than worship style.
