Odessa First Church of the Nazarene

About this church

Odessa First Church of the Nazarene worships Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in a casual, friendly setting. A typical service lasts about one hour and features a high-energy worship band. Coffee is allowed in the sanctuary, and visitors may dress however they are comfortable. Families who plan a visit online can request a reserved parking space, help checking in children, a saved seat, a building tour, and time to meet the pastor. The congregation’s mission is to love God and one another while forming Christlike disciples who make disciples, one person at a time.

Kids Church serves children from six weeks through fifth grade during the 10:30 service. Kindergarten through fifth-grade children join the main auditorium for music, then follow a trained volunteer to an age-appropriate room for a lesson about God and an engaging activity. The church describes the setting as safe, though it does not publish its screening or pickup procedure. Small Groups welcome different ages and backgrounds, meet needs, study Jesus’ teaching, build friendships, and carry service into the community. The campus includes a full-size gym, commercial kitchen, and classrooms. Open items include nursery staffing, disability access beyond parking, sacramental scheduling, livestreams, and the latest Small Group calendar.
