Faith Methodist Church

About this church

Faith Methodist Church in Richmond offers traditional worship Sundays at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel and contemporary worship at 11:00, with both services streamed online. A relaxed acoustic gathering is held Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.; it uses the same sermon as Sunday, mixes songs and hymns with minimal instrumentation, and is not streamed. Communion is served on the first Sunday at 9:00, weekly at 11:00, and at the Thursday gathering preceding the first Sunday. Casual clothing is welcome, from jeans to business casual.

Sunday children’s ministry serves infants from two months through fifth grade, with nursery care available through age five. Middle- and high-school students gather during the school year on Wednesdays for a 6:00 p.m. snack supper and 7:00 Bible study with worship, teaching, activities, and age-based small groups. Faith joined the Global Methodist Church in 2022 and describes its Wesleyan mission as making disciples who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly. Guests are invited to stay for coffee and conversation, while remote viewers can watch through the website, Facebook, YouTube, Roku, or Apple TV. This is a flexible choice for people balancing traditional, contemporary, weekday, and online worship.
